Millbury Classic Car and Truck Museum

26869 Cummings Road, Millbury Ohio 45858

We spent our Sunday afternoon at the Millbury Classic car museum today. From the time we entered the building my husband was speechless and I had to keep reminding him that we did have to pay to enter. As seniors we only had to pay $8.00 each. The regular adult price is $12.00 and children are $8.00 also, under 5 are free.

The first room had the Delorian from Back to the Future, the Batmobile and the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine and Herbie the love bug. These are replica vehicles from favorite TV and movies but are fun to see.

The museum also has many mannequins dressed as the actors. Besides the classic cars the museum has many old gas pumps, air machines and oil pumps and many other items from gas station garages from yesteryear. The owners dress their many mannequins as gas attendants and some characters from history and movies. The firebird that Burt Reynolds drove in Smokey and the Bandit has a lookalike mannequin of Burt Reynolds, Sally Fields and Jackie Gleason. The Dukes of Hazzard cars include the Duke boys Roadrunner and Boss Hog’s cadillac, as well as Boss Hog and the Dukes.

Besides all these famous replica cars there are many other cars and trucks. They have trucks from the 50’s to the 70’s. They have classic corvettes, mustangs, 57 chevy’s and so much more. If you remember the old candy machines, gum dispensing machines, juke boxes, and more you can see them again here.

We had a great experience and enjoyed talking to some of the other visitors too.

SpeedTrap Diner

After leaving the car museum we decided to keep the theme going and stopped at the Route 20 SpeedTrap Diner. They are known for the burgers and the atmosphere is fun. My husband had a classic burger and I had a cherry bourbon burger and we definitely enjoyed them. The waitress explained that the name came from the location which tended to be a local SpeedTrap on Route 20. The decor they call Funkadelic. Actually its a little bit of everything. They have a SpeedTrap wall with the standard height measurement on the wall that you can take your picture in front of.

If you want to find the restrooms, follow the road on the floor.

The women’s restroom has so much decor its hard to describe so here are the pictures.

They serve breakfast (all day) lunch and dinner. Some specialty items are the Underground sandwiches, like the Capone, which is a garlic buttered pretzel bun with grilled spaghetti and meatballs and drizzled with Italian dressing and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. This fun diner is worth checking out.

We had a great afternoon checking out these two locations in Northwest Ohio
